A village named Ula in Laxmipasha union of Lohagora upazila of Narail district, the ruins of an ancient Neelkuthi, which were built by the British during the East India Company, can be seen. It is believed that this kuthi was established in the first half of the twentieth century. Kuthi is located near Dighalia High School. Blue was processed in this Nilkuthi' and it was sold outwards.
